Nokia announces new pen-based handset
Nokia has announced its second pen-based handset for the Chinese market…
Emphasising its commitment to providing localised solutions outside its traditional design guidelines. The 3108 are targeted at the entry level market and builds on the success Nokia has enjoyed with the original 6108 in Chinese-speaking countries throughout Asia Pacific.
The device includes a 4096 colour display, MMS compatibility, XHTML browsing and support for Java downloads. There is also a lunar calendar, an enhanced phonebook, themed wallpapers, polyphonic ringtones, animated screensavers and games.
Chinese characters can be input using the touch pad concealed beneath a flip and the stylus, which clips to the back of the handset.
The Nokia management are very encouraged by the success of is first pen-based phone, the Nokia 6108 which has been extremely well-received particularly in China and other markets in Asia Pacific where there is a predominantly large population of Chinese language users. This bears testimony to the huge potential of consumers in the region who value the intuitive pen-based feature optimised for Chinese messaging.
Building on the success of the Nokia 6108, we are bringing the benefits of the pen input capability to a broader segment of consumers who enjoy self-expression, sharing experiences and moments with their friends and family in a fun and exciting way. With its dynamic and trendy design and fun features for personalisation, the pen-based Nokia 3108 will appeal to a wider and younger consumer segment with such needs and preferences.

Out of Point
Hexxagon happens to be one of those games that's easier to play than it is to explain. You play as the red diamonds, and your goal is to take over the board by leaping into the spaces adjacent to your opponent's watery globules.
